The Textile Institute Southern Australian Section was deeply saddened to learn of Victor Scarborough's sudden death and the Committee on behalf of its members would like to express its sadness and extend its sympathies to Victor’s family.
 
Victor was a highly regarded, respected  and valuable committee member of TISA and his loss will be felt by the Committee, members and colleagues. Victor was always willing to contribute and volunteer his time and energy to the institute and it was always a joy to see him at our committee meetings and our functions. During his years at the Textile Institute, his dedication and selfless nature was always admired and all regarded him with great respect and admiration.
 
Victor was a remarkable person and we are all better for having him known. He will be greatly missed.

National Student of the Year

This prestigious award is presented annually. All Textile educational institutes in Australia are invited to nominate entrants. The Awards ceremony is part of the TISA AGM where finalists are introduced to the Industry and have the opportunity to celebrate their educational achievements and launch careers of the future.
