Mary Mirt offers extensive experience in apparel design and education as a key team member of the teaching faculty at RMIT University Brunswick. Her special interest areas are: CAD / CAM software such as Lectra, Pattern Design Software and Adobe Illustrator. Mary has chaired the Institute's high profile National Student Design Awards for the past 6 years and with the assistance of her colleague supporters, has taken the National Student Design Awards to the highest level as an industry recognised event. One of Mary's ongoing rewards through her involvement with the Institute is assisting with the development of relationships between the TCF industry and the students. |

Les Mapstone is a long standing member of the Institute and Past President. Previously working with Du Pont, his mentorship abilities and positive reputation in the textiles industry are well known and he plays a key role in the Student Awards Programs. |
Treasurer

Mike Clifford is well known in the textiles and dyeing / colour sectors of the industry. He holds a key management position with Pacbrands (Holeproof), and provides strong leadership in his Treasury role to the Institute Committee of Management. |
Committee Member

A fashion industry educator with over 25 years of extensive practical experience, Sylvia Walsh has been mentor to many of Australia's leading young fashion designers. Her involvement in government and business initiatives has enabled her to maximize her contribution to the Australian Fashion Industry. Completing her Masters of Art in Textile Design in 2007, she studied in Paris and London as a member of Fashion Group International Inc. (USA) and the Paris American Academy Fashion Educational Division. Sylvia currently teaches at RMIT Brunswick and is active in encouraging student placement in Industry and involved in coordinating Industry events. |

Ann Williams has provided Admin Office support for the Institute and its members since 2001. Her employment background in the areas of legal, and government but predominantly the TCF Sector of CSIRO as Marketing and Liaison Officer has allowed the Institute to benefit its members from her skillbase in these areas as well as her strong business association network. |
